Season
Right now, the season is autumn. Orange, yellow, and red leaves litter the ground of The Forest. Trees are beginning to lose their branches and the sun shines brightly through the canopy. It's hotter than usual, and it has been raining a lot.

Intro
You thought that our island was only ever inhabited by wolves. That wolves were here from the beginning. Well, you'd be wrong. May 1840 was when the humans arrived mistakenly at E'teal. They were escaped clockwork ruffians -- those who could only make money but keeping clocks intact. Anyway, there were three of them. One who dedicated himself to working with oak, one who dedicated himself to working with bronze, and one who dedicated himself to working with silver. The woodworker was exceptionally more lawful than his allies. He believed not in thieving fine bronze and silver from other's hard work, but cutting logs of oak from trees himself. You may be wondering where the wolves were from, at this point. Well, these men stole several wolves from the places they were incarcerated in back in their town. The three desired wolves so that they could, at least hopefully, transform themselves into werewolves with the bite. They wanted to create a more 'superior' race of this island. However, when their test failed, they were stranded on the island with a supply of silver, bronze, and oak that they had no use for. Now, they didn't need it to train the wolves. Alas, they set the wolves free and set to getting rid of their supplies. They began building a clock tower. The base was made of carefully logs of wood. There was so much of the oak on E'teal that his allies demanded he build the foundation. So he did. The circle of the clock was forged of bronze, and the hands and numbers were formed of silver. Those wolves that were released -- there were ten of them. Two (Jennezia and Lexer) ran off to the other side of the island to avoid human contact. But let's not get into their story, yet. The other eight went elsewhere. One became king of the others and the wolf population began escalating. Meanwhile, the clock tower was finished and the three lawbreakers had died. However, the king -- Neg -- was now creating a more 'superior' race. A pack of wolves.

| Respect everyone in the pack. We aren't risking the unity of this amazing pack by allowing cat-fights and name-calling take reign. If there are any problems with this, please contact a mod or administrator (betas and dominants). Quarrels will be handled maturely and calmly.
Literacy is a must. Of course, if you're here, you've likely already have got some literacy skills in store. If you think you need help sharpening, don't hesitate to request RP training from one of the veteran members of the pack. Things like 'LOL' and 'ROFL' and minor acronyms and the such (u, r, gtg) are allowed on the chat-box. Illiteracy is severely looked down upon in RP, however, meaning we don't want to see a post looking like this:
I walk to the tree and say hi.
No, just -- no. That's just silly. Your posts must reach at least 200 words or longer.
Respect each other. If you are caught harassing and/or threatening other members inside the chat it can result in a warning/kick/ban all depending on the severity of the case, having conflicts or arguments is one thing but personally attacking users with hurtful, racist and/or offensive language out of RP will not be tolerated. As a member of Legends of E'teal you should be polite to everyone no matter which age, gender, or views they might have. If there's a problem within the pack contact the moderators and administrators here if needed.
Absolutely no god-modding, Mary-Suing, Gary-Suing, power-playing, or inst-hitting. And or anything of that nature. Meaning you cannot, during fighting or anything really, cause an effect on any other role player's character or characters. No character has perfect aim. Keep in mind that everything in an RP fight, in particular, must be an attempt, since every move your character makes isn't set in stone. Things can change depending on your opponents moves, and you must respect that. This links with respecting other members. It leaves room for error on either character's aim, making it much more accurate and allows both RPers to have some say-so in what happens to their character. Not exactly as fast-paced as most people like it but it's fairer, and also much more vivid than your average RP battle.
Please stick to PG in the RP. There may be younger people in your midst. The gore is okay to a certain extent; just don't abuse this privileged, as some extensive content may disturb or seem offending to some. This goes the same with cursing; this is not allowed.
Have fun! Just stick to the rules, be kind and polite, and your time here in Legends of E'teal just might be a blast. | |
